There
is evidence that reflexology dates back to 2330 BC with pictures
found in Egyptian tombs. Since then reflexology has developed
and in the 1930's Eunice Ingham developed the Ingham method
which is what modern reflexology is based on.
Reflexology
is the technique of applying gentle pressure to the reflexes
on the feet in order to bring about a state of deep relaxation.
It Stimulates the body’s own healing processes and helps
a person to return to a state of balance and well being.
Reflexology
is not a therapy that diagnoses illness. It does not cure,
it facilitates healing. |
